Main Function
The main functions of the Research & Industrial Linkages Department are as follows:

• To promote and enhance research, consultation, innovation, and publication for UiTM Sarawak
• To collaborate with the various government agency, industry & alumni
• To promote knowledge transfers between academia and students with the community
• To promote entrepreneurship activity
• To help university generating income through commercialization, services, innovation & infrastructure

• To promote the culture of writing at UiTM Sarawak
• To organize programs that can create potential writers among the staff of UiTM Sarawak
• To provide support for staff in publication
• To achieved all the KPI related to writing and publication
