Whether you are a returning, first-year, or transfer student, you will find unlimited opportunities to enjoy campus life by learning, exploring, and engaging together. Cultivating our rich diversity is a hallmark of our unique “Resort Campus”. Let’s encourage one another to celebrate our differences and to foster a community free of intolerance and discrimination. I believe that the value of higher education lies in the morality and ethics of the students. Together we work to promote a campus climate that is respectful, civil, supportive, and safe. Furthermore, I also would like to encourage all students here to be holistic. Apart from working hard in your studies, you should also be active by joining extracurricular activities. Extracurricular activities are activities that occur outside the four classroom walls, away from your regular curriculum. Joining extracurricular activities can provide you with a productive break from your study, train you with better time management, widen your social circle and provide an added advantage to your resume. Not only that, participating in extracurricular activities can build your confidence and leadership skills. Although it is the focus of this institution to contribute towards producing many intellects and academician, but concomitantly at the end of the day, we would like to produce graduates and citizens who will be able to contribute to the development of positive values, knowledgeable with civic and political situations, democratic participation and societal norms. It is expected that our graduates will have a strong impact on socio-economic of our state and this country as well as to be become as an aspired leader one day, InsyaAllah. Hence, in order to achieve the noble goals, I would like to encourage students of UiTM Mukah to be proactive in making impressive and consistent achievements within our campus or outside of the campus and be enthusiastic with the learning process in managing events, activities, leadership elements and interpersonal as well as intrapersonal skills.

As this campus is strategically located in the heart of education hub, I believe it will become a wonderful place to develop together. I look forward to the rich and rewarding semester and years ahead and wish that we will work together as a team sincerely in order to lift UiTM to a higher rank. I strongly believe that UiTM Mukah will play a significant role in transforming our country and region in the coming years by having enthusiastic and prolific academic and non-academic staff to drive this institution forward and to be recognised globally.

Apart from preparing our graduates to be outstanding and excellent academically, UiTM Mukah is also committed in giving our full support to any events carried out outside or inside the campus. UiTM Mukah will always work as a team player with any agencies and organisations to make any planned programmes as a successful collaboration. As Mukah is well known as the multi-racial and multi-religion division, therefore, UiTM Mukah will work together with the community to contribute to the society. Academicians of UiTM Mukah are willing to help in building the society by sharing their knowledge and their expertise to the community. As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (“CSR”) pledge, we can contribute towards the development of the local community by giving training, consultation and leadership guidance with the support of the outstanding academicians in UiTM Mukah. UiTM Cawangan Sarawak Kampus Mukah

Mukah was declared the 10th Division in Sarawak on March 1st, 2002. Following the declaration, the division has developed tremendously. The development has also shown a continuous and an impressive progress in line with the announcement of Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (SCORE) by the Chief Minister of Sarawak. With the establishment of the SCORE project, new job opportunities are targeted for residents of Mukah Division in particular, and the people of Sarawak in general.

To meet the manpower needs, UiTM Sarawak Kampus Mukah has started its operation since December 2002. The first academic programme introduced was Pre-Diploma (Commerce). In the early years, shop houses were rented for student dormitories, a library, offices and lecture rooms. In October 2007, 14 shop houses were rented by UiTM at Boulevard Setia Raja to accommodate the increasing number of students.Two prominent diploma programmes, namely Diploma in Business Studies and Diploma in Planting Industry Management were introduced for the session of July-November 2008. In 2012, due to the constraints of the existing facilities to cater the student’s needs, Diploma in Planting Industry Management was temporarily transferred to Kampus Samarahan.

At present, the new campus, located about 7.5 kilometers from the town center and started its operation since 2015, can proudly accommodate up to 2000 students. Among the programmes offered are Diploma in Business Studies, Diploma in Banking Studies, Diploma in Plantation Management, Diploma in Aquaculture, Pre Diploma (Science) and Pre Diploma (Commerce). The groundbreaking official ceremony was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Sarawak, Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud on April 9, 2011.
