Introduction
Quality Management Unit of UiTM Sarawak plays a significant role to ensure UiTM Sarawak to provide its service delivery beyond our customer satisfaction. The unit function through the establishment of several committees composed of members from both the academic and administrative units who administer, monitor and help put into practice programmes that advocate quality.
Our role includes communicating information about quality practices and creating a quality culture amongst the staff and students of UiTM Sarawak. This unit also This committee is responsible for ensuring that the integrated quality management system works effectively to ensure the service provided by UiTM Sarawak meets the requirements of the standard COPIA 2.0, COPPA 2.0, ISO 9001: 2015 as well as professional accreditation bodies. We plan award ceremonies and hold meetings to plan and recognise achievements throughout the University. We strive to create a culture of continuous quality improvement. These initiatives are practised in a climate of trust by motivated and empowered staff who understand the University’s vision and how they contribute to it.
Main Function
- Ensuring the service delivery complies with standards and regulation
- Communicating information about quality practices to all staff and students of UiTM Sarawak
- Inculcating quality culture
- Planning for award ceremonies
- Preparing reports required by InqKA and other external parties
- Recognising achievements of departments, units and staff of UiTM Sarawak
- Recommending corrective actions to the management for continuous improvement
