UiTM Wireless Network
This service is available for UiTM Staff and Student to access to the Internet and Intranet through UiTM Network.
Services
There are four types off SSID we serve depending on user type which are presented below.
UiTM WiFi STAF

For Staff login please use your webmail ID as a username and WiFi Password as a password.

For first time login please activate your WiFi ID via https://wifi.uitm.edu.my/activation. By activated your WiFi ID, you are agree to abide by the ICT Policy and ICT Security Policy while browsing using UiTM Network System.

For staff who forgot password please reset your password via https://wifi.uitm.edu.my/resetpassword.
UiTM WiFi STUDENT
For Student login please use your student portal id credential for login purposes.
UiTM WiFi GUEST
For Guest kindly contact Wireless Administrator or please contact helpline 03-55442213, 03-55211774, 03-55442173 or email wifi@uitm.edu.my.
eduroam

For Guest from other universities, user from other universities need to register at their own university to be able to access to eduroam in UiTM.

For UiTM Staf while visiting other universities can use this ssid to get the wifi connection, kindly login with your webmail address (with @uitm.edu.my) as a username and UiTM WiFi Password as a password at all eduroam members premises.

For UiTM Student while visiting other universities can use this ssid to get the wifi connection, kindly login with your student portal id (with @isiswa.uitm.edu.my) as a username and UiTM student portal password as a password.

For list of eduroam members, you can view via https://mon.eduroam.my/participants.
How To Connect
- Open your Wifi and find and choose either one of this SSID UiTM WiFi STAF, UiTM WiFi STUDENT or UiTM WiFi GUEST.
- Follow the configuration settings as follows depending on user type which are presented below.

Coverage
- WiFi facilities at UiTM Cawangan Sarawak depend on:
- The quality of the device used
- User distance with AP (50 meters radius)
- Conditions around the location such as barriers (walls) and how many users access at one time for each area that has a Wireless Access Point.
- The strength of the WiFi signal transmitted is only a distance of about 50 meters. So if users are in a relatively remote place with a Wireless Access Point (AP) then users can no longer connect to the WiFi network.
- Coverage for UiTM Cawangan Sarawak varies depending on the campus shown below.
